This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.

Parts of this website offer users an opportunity to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. Naqshar Architects & Consultants does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments before their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Naqshar Architects & Consultants, its agents, and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who posts their views and opinions. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Naqshar Architects & Consultants shall not be liable for the Comments or any liability, damages, or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.

You warrant and represent that:

  • TERMS, CONDITIONS AND RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
    1. The consultant's scope of services for this project is limited to Architecture/Interior Design, consultancy, and its top supervision only.
    2. Advance payment is liable to the client as a mobilization fee for all services before sharing the initial concept sketch/draft.
    3. For detailed supervision, the Client may appoint a Resident Engineer or Site supervisor.
    4. This agreement does not cover the provision and submission of any kind of fee, documents, taxes, third-party charges, fines, and penalties to any civic or private authority from the architect's part. The client, directly to the competent civic authority/authorities shall pay all such amounts.
    5. The client agrees to provide all necessary information regarding the project. Providence of all kinds of surveys, geological surveys, soil testing reports, and other related info is the responsibility of the client.
    6. Provision of Two (2) sets of prints of all completed drawings/ and charts is included in this agreement free of cost.
    7. Consultant will only provide noneditable soft copies/copies (PDFs, PNG & JPEGs, etc.) for all the drawings/info/views produced.
    8. Construction and execution of the project shall proceed by the detailed structural, architectural, and/or MEP or other drawings except for minor changes necessitated by site conditions. Any major or significant deviations, particularly to the architecture and interior schematics of the design, and related internal works shall be made only after mutual consultation with the Architect/Interior Designer/Project Manager.
    9. All design and consultancy charges are quoted based on the overall plot area to be designed, with a tolerance of -/+5%.
    10. All costs indicated in the “Schedule of Payments” are the basic minimum costs to handle the project evaluated on the minimum area. If in case the project area decreases from as indicated in Consultancy Charges for any reason, the basic cost may not be reduced further.
    11. The cost of a physical model, and perspective view, If, not stated in SOS and desired by the client, will be charged extra.
    12. Preparation of additional drawings, sketches, etc. if required to incorporate such deviations or changes requested by the client will be charged extra, the amount to be settled mutually.
    13. Any extra visits or meetings during the estimated construction/execution period of 12 months will be charged. At least two days prior notice will be required.
    14. All drawings & information about the execution and construction of the mentioned project space shall be issued from the Architect’s office. For all information issued to contractor/s for tender, the Architect may charge an extra amount as (Tender document charges/ BOQs) from the participating contractors/bidders.
    15. Completion and As-Built Plans will be prepared after completion of work and settlement of all dues to the Architect/Interior Designer.
    16. A letter of project awarded and closure shall be issued to the Architect/Project Manager from the client at the beginning and completion respectively, of the project mentioning the Scope of Services, Completion Time Taken, and the Project Costs involved.
    17. In case of termination of this agreement at any time before completion of services or holding up of work for any reason by the client for beyond or exceedingly over 2 months. The consultants shall be paid all dues equivalent to the value of services they already provided as per approved guidelines.
    18. The client will allow the display of the consultant’s firm name “Naqshar” and address on-site, Visible from the street view.
    19. This agreement of services is valid for 12 months from the date of signing.
    20. This engagement will be conducted on a Time & Materials basis. The total value for the Services pursuant to this SOS shall not exceed said amount and services unless otherwise agreed by both parties via the project change control procedure, as outlined within. A PCR will be issued specifying the amended value
